Niavac to Deliver Full AV Production for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast
Niavac is proud to announce that, as the appointed **Event Production supplier to Belfast City Council**, we will be delivering the **full AV production** for **Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann**, the world’s largest celebration of Irish music, culture and tradition.
Taking place in **Belfast for the first time**, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will run from **Sunday 2 to Sunday 9 August**, representing one of the largest and most technically complex live cultural events ever staged in the city. The Fleadh attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and performers, requiring robust, scalable and high-quality production solutions across multiple sites.
The Gig Rig at Belfast City Hall
At the centre of the festival is **The Gig Rig**, positioned at **Belfast City Hall** — an iconic location that presents both a unique visual opportunity and significant technical considerations.
Niavac will deliver the **complete technical production** for The Gig Rig, including **stage infrastructure, professional audio systems and dynamic lighting**, designed to support a high turnover of performances while maintaining consistent production standards throughout the week. The site will host a programme of **free live performances**, alongside the Fleadh’s **opening and closing ceremonies**, demanding precise planning, resilient systems and experienced on-site delivery.
Multi-Venue Delivery Across the City
Beyond City Hall, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will operate across a wide range of established performance spaces, including:

* Waterfront Hall
* ICC Belfast
* The MAC
* Ulster University Belfast Campus
